Rainhard Fendrich is back!
Three years have passed since Rainhard Fendrich's last studio album. With his new single "Burn Out", the Austrian music legend is already providing a first taste of his new album "Starkregen", which will be released on 20 September. Fans can also look forward to a tour in German-speaking countries.
In the 80s/90s, he was at the top of the charts all over Europe with "Macho, Macho", wrote immortal hits like "Es lebe der Sport", "Weus'd a Herz hast wia a Bergwerk" or the secret Austrian national anthem "I`m from Austria". The Viennese is a born entertainer, whether as a presenter of various TV shows, as an actor or as a singer on stage - it is hard to resist his mischievous charm and voice with a little pinch of Viennese dialect. But why should it be, when you can immerse yourself so wonderfully in his now truly remarkable collection of song classics, which made it to the musical stage in Vienna in the incredibly successful "I`m from Austria - The Musical with the Hits of Rainhard Fendrich" for good reason.
